    Caracterización clínica en pacientes con diagnostic de Hipotiroidismo atendidos en el hudn en los años 2020-2022

    La presente investigación trata sobre el hipotiroidismo, el cual es una afección de la glándula tiroides la cual no produce suficientes hormonas tiroideas. Buscando así describir el desarrollo del proyecto de investigación titulado como "Caracterización clínica en pacientes con diagnóstico de hipotiroidismo atendidos en el HUDN en los años 2020- 2022". El cual se realizó con el fin de identificar los hallazgos clínicos más comunes y significativos de dicha patología, logrando de esta manera un diagnóstico correcto y temprano para un tratamiento eficaz y oportuno, evitando así la problemática de la exacerbación de la enfermedad, complicaciones futuras y diagnósticos errados. Orientado en un enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo y observacional evaluados mediante la revisión exhaustiva de historias clínicas, del cual se obtuvo una recolección de datos de una muestra de 101 pacientes quienes cumplieron exactamente los criterios de inclusión propiciados en la investigación. Referente a los hallazgos y vacíos evidenciados durante la investigación, fueron planteados los siguientes objetivos: Identificar las características sociodemográficas en la población de estudio, conocer los valores de TSH y T4 al momento del diagnóstico en pacientes con hipotiroidismo, describir clínicamente los pacientes diagnosticados con hipotiroidismo en la población de estudio, caracterizar el tratamiento de pacientes diagnosticados con hipotiroidismo en la población de estudio. En los resultados encontrados se logró identificar una mayor prevalencia de presentar la enfermedad en mujeres de edades entre 31 a 61 años, con síntomas característicos en mayor proporción de astenia, adinamia y somnolencia, quienes recibieron en totalidad tratamiento con una dosis inicial y el 38,61% tuvieron una segunda dosis de reajuste la cual se puede asociar con la adherencia y no adherencia al tratamiento. El hipotiroidismo es una de las patologías más frecuentes encontrada en la población femenina de edad media, mestizas y residentes urbanas, con una clínica muy variada. Abstract This research deals with hypothyroidism, which is a condition of the thyroid gland which does not produce enough thyroid hormones. Seeking to describe the development of the research project titled "Clinical characterization in patients with a diagnosis of hypothyroidism treated at the HUDN in the years 2020- 2022." Which was carried out in order to identify the most common and significant clinical findings of said pathology, thus achieving a correct and early diagnosis for an effective and timely treatment, thus avoiding the problem of exacerbation of the disease, future complications and wrong diagnoses. Oriented on a quantitative, descriptive and observational approach evaluated through the exhaustive review of medical records, from which data collection was obtained from a sample of 101 patients who exactly met the inclusion criteria provided for in the research. Regarding the findings and gaps evident during the research, the following objectives were raised: Identify the sociodemographic characteristics in the study population, know the TSH and T4 values at the time of diagnosis in patients with hypothyroidism, clinically describe the patients diagnosed with hypothyroidism. in the study population, characterize the treatment of patients diagnosed with hypothyroidism in the study population. In the results found, it was possible to identify a higher prevalence of presenting the disease in women between the ages of 31 and 61, with characteristic symptoms in a greater proportion of asthenia, adynamia and drowsiness, who received treatment entirely with an initial dose and the 38. 61% had a second readjustment dose which can be associated with adherence and non-adherence to treatment. Hypothyroidism is one of the most frequent pathologies found in the middle-aged female population, mixed race and urban residents, with a very varied clinical picture.
